Peter
PCAQT – Remedial Technician
Peter joined us in August 2012.
However, he already had over eight years experience in construction, serving his bricklaying apprenticeship with national firm, Shepherd Construction.
He has NVQ level 3 in bricklaying as well numerous certificates covering Health & Safety and general construction operations. PASMA and is Asbestos aware. He also has an NVQ level 2 in damp proofing and timber treatment.
Nevertheless, he aims to improve on that and we’re already working with Peter, to finish a detailed development plan to add to his skills over the coming years. He has recently qualified to work in Sub stations and power stations, via National Grid. This is so he can carry out essential structural repairs in these buildings. He also sat and passed the latest improved Property Care Association technicians course (PCAQT).
His appointment further improved our masonry repair, wall tie and structural repair abilities.
Peter is thriving in Brick-Tie’s team and is looking forward to a long and bright future here with Brick-Tie Preservation. He is always learning new skills and recently passed his exam to be enrolled on the Property Care Association professional biocide users register. This underlines his commitment to continuing personal improvement – well done Peter!
