Time are tough for many people. So our employees have raised £900 for The Clothing Bank.
The clothing bank was formed in 2020 by Susan Bell and Sally Parkinson. They realised that people living in poverty were desperate for help to clothe their families. That’s why they started a facebook page, to establish a network of clothing donors and collectors, the rest is history.
Every year Brick-Tie donate a proportion of company profits to worthy causes. The charities are chosen by our employees because they own the company and want to make sure that our profit is shared with local charities, for the benefit of the wider community.
So it was a real pleasure for our Employee Trustee, Sian Hamilton to present Sally with a cheque for £890.00! They met-up at the Clothing Banks Brotherton ‘cabin’.
Sian was delighted “What a fantastic charity, run by the loveliest people! It was great to meet the Clothing Bank ladies, and have a quick tour around their wonderful operation. They provide an amazing service, clothing those who need it help in our community, and beyond. It was an honour to meet them.
